2025 Red Bull x Berklee Scoring Challenge

When Red Bull partnered with Berklee to launch a new scoring challenge, I was honored to be selected alongside six other Berklee student composers to create original orchestral music inspired by the brand’s bold, high-energy spirit. My piece was orchestrated by a top Hollywood professional and recorded live at the iconic Synchron Stage in Vienna, with the final track being released worldwide as part of the official Sounds of Red Bull catalog.

I really wanted my piece to embody the process of breaking a world record. From the initial spark of inspiration to the intense preparation and final push for greatness, the music follows a journey of ambition, struggle, and triumph.
Unfolding in three distinct phases, the beginning captures the careful preparation and focused mindset leading up to the first attempt — a calm yet determined build-up. The middle section represents the first attempt, filled with intensity and momentum but ultimately falling just short of success. Finally, the music swells into a triumphant climax, reflecting the perseverance and breakthrough moment when the record is finally shattered.
